This peel is following procedure after having a Wrinkle Lift peel. It contains higher concentrations and is perfect for those who have tired, dull, maturing and/or smokers skin. It is an innovative blend of ingredients which lead to firming and anti- aging benefits,  alongside high concentrations of vitamin c to promptly brighten the skins appearance.

I PEEL – PERFECTION LIFT

This peel contains high concentrations of exfoliants to instantly and visibly correct uneven skin tone, smooth rough textures and reduce acne blemishes, although this can help with acne blemishes, we may need to use another peel such as the advanced BHA Lift before getting to this one, trust the process & us, we’ll get you there.

Containing the same ingredients as the perfection lift & more! How can there be more you ask?, from the newly unlocked mechanisms in today’s amazing science!  The further lactic acid, salicylic acid and resorcinol work synergistically to effectively reduce the appearance of advanced aging, acne and hypo/hyperpigmentation. This half Jesner peel has a strong blend and there for may require some down time to gain the best results for your skin in just one treatment.

I PEEL – ACNE LIFT

This peel is suited to those of an oily skin type that suffer with breakouts and/or acne. This peel is usually used to help keep acne at bay, but there are protective agents to effectively allow us to treat all grades of acne, usually your skin clinician will use this peel after you’ve had an advanced BHA lift.

I PEEL – ADVANCED BHA LIFT

This is a pure salicylic treatment meaning it is not blended and it has one main benefit, it kills the bacteria that gives us acne to begin with. This powerful & very effective peel will improve sever acne with a course of treatments.

Specific Contraindications:

• Active Infections: Any bacterial, viral, fungal, or herpetic infection in the treatment area is a contraindication.
• Open Wounds or Lacerations: Peels should not be performed on areas with open wounds or cuts.
• Medications:
  • Isotretinoin (Accutane): Recent use within the past 6-12 months is a contraindication, especially for medium and deep peels.
  • Retinoids (Retin-A, etc.): Discontinue use 7-10 days before treatment to avoid excessive skin sensitivity.
  • Certain medications that increase sun sensitivity: Consult your provider about any medications you are taking that may increase photosensitivity.
• Skin Conditions:
  • Eczema, Psoriasis, Lupus: These conditions can be exacerbated by chemical peels and should be carefully evaluated.
  • Keloids or Abnormal Scarring: A history of keloids or poor wound healing is a contraindication for medium and deep peels.
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Peels are generally not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
• Fitzpatrick Skin Types: Patients with darker skin types (Fitzpatrick III-VI) may be prone to pigmentation issues after a peel, and a thorough consultation is important.
• Recent Facial Surgery: Recent surgery in the treatment area may necessitate a waiting period before a peel.
• Unrealistic Expectations: Patients must have realistic expectations about the results of the peel and be willing to follow post-treatment instructions.
• Uncontrolled Diabetes or Immunosuppression: These conditions can impair wound healing and may require special precautions.
• Smoking: Smoking can impair wound healing and should be avoided before and after the peel.
• Recent Sunburn or Tanning Bed Use: The skin should be fully healed from sunburn or tanning before a peel.

Pre skin treatments

Use of ImageMD/ Image  home care products prior to your peel may be recommended to prepare the skin, allow for better treatment results and reduce the risk of complications. Victoria will advise on appropriate recommendations for your skin type and condition.

It is recommended that you take the following into consideration:

• Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least two weeks before and after your treatment
• Avoid the use of retinoid products (eg. retinol, Retin-A®, Tazorac®) and high levels of AHA and BHA products for approximately 7 days prior to the treatment. Consult Victoria before temporarily discontinuing the use of any prescription medications or if you need any advise regarding the products you are currently using.

All make up will need to be removed prior to treatment, so please come ‘fresh faced’ if possible.

ImageMD/IMAGE  skin treatments result in minimal to no downtime but create dramatic and visible results. Treatments can cause slight redness, tightness, peeling, flaking or temporary dryness. Most patients do not find it necessary to apply makeup, as the skin with be smooth, dewy and radiant following your treatment.
